Divine Birth Keeper

Blessings, my name is Aisaba. I was born in San Francisco , California and my lineage spreads from Louisiana , Georgia and Africa. When I reflect deeply, I have always been someone who walked with women through transformation. I grew up in a single-mother headed household, my mama birthed 4 daughters and I was always surrounded by lots of feminine energy. When I was between middle school and high school I witnessed our family cat have several litters of kittens and that had a huge impact on me. I remeber being so intrigued by how simple it was, we literally didn’t have to do anything but leave Kitty alone. Following that I had my own dance with teen pregnancy. By the time I was a Sophomore attaining my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Xavier University of Louisiana, Motherhood called me again and this time I was honored to answer the call. At the time I was on a spiritual journey, I had started meditating, become plant-based vegan and was deeply in love with the man who is now my Husband. I naturally gravitated towards a more holistic approach to how I would travel through pregnancy, birth and mother. I quickly became joyfully absorbed with researching holistic pregnancy-related things. From there I started being invited to care for postpartum mamas and eventually attend births. At some point a friend mentioned to me that I should consider being a doula since I had already started attending undistrurbed homebirths. I looked into it and heard about Whapio of The Matrona coming to the city to do a training, so I registered for it! I went from becoming a doula, to training as a lactation counselor and then I attended The Matrona Birthkeeping Program for a Holistic Midwifery Education .

Now as a mother of five beautiful and healthy children I carry experiential-wisdom. I have personally experienced very unique pregnancy and postpartum scenarios (2 Cesareans , Hospital VBAC (induction labor w/no epidural), Attended Hombirth VBA2C and a Freebirth VBA2C). I have also experienced breastfeeding as a full-time student and as a working mother. I have been blessed to be able to Extended Breastfeed all 4 of our children and I am currently brestafeeding our 5th child.

I am devoted to supporting naturally- minded women who are choosing to be sovereign in the journey through holistic parenthood. How we are treated during pregnancy, the way we come onto the earthplane and how things flow once we get to this planet matters! It is all truly sacred and I believe the entire journey should be honored. I am here to assist families in having self-defined and transformational journey.
